Christopher Peters
CEO
Christopher Peters has a track record of generating substantial returns for his clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. His work has been documented in several books and in publications ranging from The Wall Street Journal to Nikkei News.
Mr. Peters is currently the CEO of The Lucrum Group, a marketing and strategy consulting firm. The company helps clients identify new opportunities to increase sales and profits in a variety of industries.
Previously, Mr. Peters was the CEO of eMarket Concepts, an international strategic consulting firm. In addition to helping clients in more than thirty industries throughout North America, Europe and Asia, he also created an Asian joint venture, chaired by the former chairman of Compaq Japan.
Mr. Peters is probably best known for developing the concept for a new business model to facilitate supply chain interaction. He led a $3 million project to discover the opportunities, innovate a solution and validate the model. That convinced his client to create MetalSite, the world’s first industry-backed supply chain hub. MetalSite exceeded all revenue projections in the first six months and quickly earned Mr. Peters’ client a $183 million return on their $20 million investment.
As one of the e-business pioneers, Mr. Peters developed a solution in 1996 that increased annual profits for a Fortune 1000 manufacturer by more than $8 million. Within six months, the client's customer base doubled, product turnaround time was reduced and their customers were paying 10-15% more for the very same product.
The results of his work have led to highly defensible business plans, for which Mr. Peters has raised or helped raise many millions of dollars from industry leaders, angel investors and venture capital firms. Some of the industries in which he has worked include:
